A Season of Connection, Insight, and Growth for Great Lakes Gold

Spring 2026 was an energizing stretch for the Great Lakes Gold team. From national trade shows to regional showcases and industry‑specific conferences, we spent the season showcasing our products, learning, and building lasting relationships across the food industry.

Here’s a look back at where we’ve been and what we learned along the way.

American Society of Baking- February 16–19 | Chicago, Illinois
We kicked off the season at ASB, connecting with bakers, food scientists, and manufacturers focused on quality, consistency, and performance. These conversations reinforced the growing demand for clean, reliable oils that support flavor and functionality in baked goods.

Natural Products Expo West- March 3–6 | Anaheim, California
With a focus on sustainability, transparency, and innovation, Expo West highlighted where the natural products industry is going—and reinforced the growing relevance of 100% all‑natural, expeller‑pressed oils.

Melotte Product Showcase- March 10 | Green Bay, Wisconsin
Close to home, the Melotte Product Showcase provided meaningful conversations with regional customers of Melotte Distributing in Green Bay, WI. A great reminder why strong local partnerships are so important.

Wisconsin Food & Hospitality Expo- March 11 | Milwaukee, Wisconsin
This show was all about educating chefs, operators, distributors, and hospitality professionals about the health benefits and premium high stability performance of high oleic soybean oil!

National Institute of Oilseed Products- March 14–17 | Scottsdale, Arizona
Connecting with fellow oilseed processors and industry experts gave us deeper insight into processing, quality standards, and market dynamics—conversations that help us continue improving behind the scenes.

Wisconsin Farm Show- March 24–26 | Oshkosh, Wisconsin
The Wisconsin Farm Show helped us tell the farm‑to‑fork story to all our Wisconsin Farmers that deliver Quality Roasting, Inc soybeans! It was a great opportunity to talk about the role soybeans provide supplying 100% all- natural vegetable oil nationwide.

Tavern League of Wisconsin- March 29 – April 2 | Green Bay, Wisconsin
We wrapped up the season having conversations with restaurant owners and Wisconsin‑based foodservice distributors, listening to cooks talk through real‑world fryer use, filtering routines, and how oil performs under daily kitchen demands.

Looking Ahead

This spring reaffirmed why we do what we do. Whether we’re talking with bakers, chefs, distributors, farmers, or manufacturers, the message is consistent—relationships matter, quality matters, and transparency matters.

We’re grateful for every conversation and connection made this season, and we’re excited to carry that momentum forward into the rest of 2026!
