The best chefs in the world were introduced to Great Lakes Gold High Oleic Vegetable Oil while competing at the 2025 World Food Championships (WFC). Hosted on the Indiana State Fair Grounds, this multi-day event showcases some of the world’s best cooks competing for food, fame, and fortune.
Great Lakes Gold High Oleic Vegetable Oil would not be showcased on the World Stage without the help of our partners at Indiana Soybean Alliance who sponsored the heart healthy oil as the official cooking oil of the competition.
Wisconsin fresh beer battered cheese curds were sampled as people were educated on how High Oleic Soybeans invest directly in America’s farmers. Many chefs noticed Great Lakes Gold was ideal for high heat cooking, mentioning the superior stability provided high smoke point.
